LET US TAKE THE RISK OUT OF YOUR PROJECT SUPPLY NEEDS
Our Project Management Philosopy
Our interest in Project Management is to support stakeholders to achieve successful delivery of the project. We do this by carefully managing the supply chain from procurement through design, fabrication, inspection, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) to logistics and final acceptance of the product on site. Alloy Services also offers project planning, quantity surveying and contract administration assistance.
Our team has a wealth of combined experience managing major fast track projects. Let us bring successful management practices; the right blend of local and imported skilled labour; and training experience so you can up-skill teams of semi-skilled workers; to your next project. The provision of experienced supervision and skilled labour is essential to the successful completion of any project.
Control, planning, scheduling, Quality Assurance and safety are key elements of any project, but of course with each project there are also individual hurdles. The current market see’s high site labour costs and a shortage of skilled labour a consistent challenge.
Our Australian based team and its offshore fabrication partners can build and erect all manner of structural, piping, pressure vessel and mechanical fabrication.
We are confident that our fabrication strategy can deliver the capacity demanded by a fast track fabrication schedule (now the norm for larger projects). Our strategy will ensure the successful completion of each project, safely, on time, within budget and in full compliance with standards and specifications.
Alloy Services Objectives
Our project management objectives are defined and based on the Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) principles of project management. CPI becomes the responsibility of the nominated Project Manager and shall include:
- Performance of an Alignment (the formal process for ensuring shared understanding of: project objectives and goals; roles and responsibilities; and the path forward.)
- Management of project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). KPIs are those areas critical to the success of a project. These will be identified during the alignment process. It is expected that they will be based on project drivers in line with the following topics:
a) Safety
b) Quality
c) Environment
d) Cost
e) Schedule - Publishing the KPIs and project’s fabrication performance goals.
- Measurement and reporting on compliance to the projects fabrication performance goals.
- Reporting on the status of outstanding CPI actions.
- Reporting on the schedule for team-building activities.
